How it works
You enter your login details (or the player reads them from a saved link) on a website, which then streams your channels and VOD library directly in the browser tab.
When it’s useful
It’s handy on devices where installing an app isn’t convenient, or for a quick check of your subscription without setting anything up. Dedicated apps generally offer a smoother, more TV-friendly experience for regular viewing.
Limitations
Web players can be more sensitive to browser settings and less consistent across devices than a native app, and not every provider offers one.
